This classic civilian Jacket was first created in the 30’s, and again many manufacturers have interpreted and recreated this iconic style ever since. We have based the Simmons Bilt Half Belt on the earlier jackets produced, incorporating the authentic half belt feature with two piece back, one piece front with two deep pockets and one breast pocket, all lined with high quality cotton. Due to the nature of the natural raw materials we use and the traditional method of manufacture we employ it is not always possible to meet exact measurement requirements. The products we build are not designed to be tailored like a suit, they will after a "break in" period soften and mold to the shape of your own body, our jackets are built to be worn. We do not use a production line system or have racks of jackets ready to ship, each and every jacket is made to order, individually handcrafted here in Scotland by one of our specialists.
